The Office Genie Christmas Message

T'was the night before Christmas ...

Posted by Jacqui Frost on 24/12/2012

Well it is the night before Christmas, but I wouldn't say that no one was stirring (although I do hope there isn't a mouse!) The Genies will be assembling here today, even those taking annual leave, for our usual mulled wine and festive treats ...

have a great Christmas and I hope that 2013 is the one of your dreams!

have a great Christmas and I hope that 2013 is the one of your dreams!

We have had our best year yet; it had its challenges as you'll know if you've read our blog throughout the year but we've had another great party with both staff and clients to round off the year so we are finishing on a high!

In the last 8 weeks of the year we have taken on lots of new call handling clients as well as some returning clients that have used our services in the past and are now absolutely certain they cannot manage without us! Others are clients that are new to using a call handling service with some that are fellow members of the Entrepreneur's Circle. As Nigel says - you shouldn't be answering your own phones - would you expect Richard Branson or Peter Jones to answer their main business line?

We have also taken on several PA clients through out the year, doing a variety of administrative and secretarial functions. We have become knowledgeable on Mailchimp and Capsule CRM, to help clients with their marketing and databases. We have done legal photocopying, audio typing, mail merges, direct and email campaigns, credit control calls, venue booking, delegate calling, launch event running, training event administration - the list is endless.

As 2012 has seen a growth in the number of our clients and the functions that we do for them we have outgrown our current Genie Towers, so we are planning a move to bigger offices at the end of the first quarter of 2013. We will be planning meticulously so that it will be a smooth transition. And with the new offices will come extended hours, we are working with existing and potential clients to work out what hours will suit best - but that is another big change for us!

"Santa, with all these big plans please grant my wish for health and happiness for my staff, their families and children next year as I know I won't be able to pull it all off without them!"

We have also been invited to pitch our services to around 40 franchisees at their National Event in Glasgow in January. So plans are afoot to put the packages together and get the presentation finished in time for that - and if we take them all on we will need even bigger offices for more Genies.

I hope you get all your Christmas wishes this year - have a great Christmas and I hope that 2013 is the one of your dreams!

Be magical ...
